Here is where I will be sharing some of my healthy lifestyle tips that I incorporate in my daily routines. I hope it will inspire you as much as it inspires me to practice healthy living.
Charcoal lemonade is very easy to make and it is highly beneficial for the body in terms of detoxification. Sometimes it is hard to make the right choices when it comes to diet and an occasional detoxification can help us balance out our internal digestive system. I keep my lemonade very simple by using one lemon, a teaspoon of maple syrup, a half teaspoon of charcoal, water and a couple of ice cubes (optional). Between sips I keep mixing the drink because it tends to separate and the charcoal deposits on the bottom of the glass. Also, it is very important to drink lots of water because charcoal acts as a “magnet” and once it enters the body it tends to dehydrate. If you don’t want to stain your teeth (although charcoal has teeth whitening properties as well) just enjoy it with a straw.
