As I was setting up my thanksgiving table I was thinking about all the people and things I am grateful for this year. But first I wanted to let you know that my gratitude goes out towards all of you guys who read this blog and support my dream by clicking on these pages. It means a lot to me and gives a sense of worth. This year has been so great and even the ups and downs in my life served as a continuous learning and growing experience. My goal with this blog is to inspire you and spread positive thinking. In our daily lives and struggles it is hard to remember why we are thankful and I personally need reminders of my blessings sometimes. To improve this flaw of mine, I started a journal where I write down daily (at least I try to do it daily) people and things that I am thankful for. I emphasize people first and then things because family and friends are the ones that make a difference in our lives and help us collect great memories. I often read motivational books on how to stay positive and how to redirect our focus on things that really matter in life. Gratitude helps rethink our priorities and ultimately encourages a more minimalist lifestyle by not fixating on what we need but rather on what we have. I am very grateful for Thanksgiving as a holiday because it serves as a great yearly reminder to look around and appreciate the souls that are next to us and encourage us to do great thinks and never give up on our dreams. One of those amazing souls is my wonderful husband, who works so hard to take care of us as a family and support me in my dreams and career. I love you Norbi (because I know you read this) and I thank God every day for you!
On my table setup I wanted to incorporate organic matter and emphasize the beauty of fall by using warm colors. I bought the napkins (they are on sale now) and the accent plate from Pier 1 Imports. Everything else I used on the table is recycled from other projects I have worked on in the past.
Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for reading!
XO
Thank you for the beautiful setting!
I’m thankful for you too… every, single day!
I love you more every. single. day!
