Such a beautiful way to end a good week. The lavender festival at Highland Springs Ranch & Inn could not have been better. For years we attended the event but this year we enjoyed it the most. Since our trip to Provence, I fell in love with lavender even more. I was looking forward to enjoying lavender ice teas and lemonade, ice cream with lavender flavor and lavender honey. The festival did not disappoint, but rather surprised me with even more options. There was afternoon tea under the giant eucalyptus trees with gorgeous tables and harp music. Under large and airy canopies were the markets selling a large variety of organic products. And of course the lavender fields with blooming flowers were the highlight of the visit. After walking around I took a break and sat down under the shady olive groves. Before we headed home we bought lavender honey and some treats for the road. I can’t wait to come back next year to celebrate the 15th annual lavender festival.
Thank you for stopping by.
